Maria's solid base for her physique was built early in
her life when she trained and competed as a gymnast throughout high
school. Her competition days in gymnastics came to an abrupt end when
she suffered a knee injury that put her out of competition in her senior
year. In her college years Maria took up competitive trampoline and
synchronized trampoline with her sister. After her stint in competition,
Maria turned to coaching in gymnastics. She would coach kids as young
as five up to the elite athletes competing at the olympic level.
She also developed a competitive gymnastics program for
a club in Michigan during her time there as a head coach for two years.
Maria would coach for a total of 15 years before she turned to personal

I was not able to get the results I wanted until I added in weight training

I am a Figure competitor and fitness model located in Ft. Lauderdale,
Florida. I started training for my first figure competition in May 2005
and entered the Southern States show in August. I took the Overall Title
in my first show and I was hooked. I continued training and just did
the 2005 GNC IFBB North American in Cleveland, Ohio and placed 3rd.
There were 22 of the best in Figure from all of North America, and the
competition was stiff. I was very pleased to do so well in my first
National debut.
I will continue to build my physique within the next 4 months to prepare
to do battle in 2006. In the meantime I am a certified personal trainer,
NSCA-CPT and a graduate of Fitness Institute International in Boca Raton,
Florida. I am also a fitness model relatively new to the market, but
will be appearing in current fitness related publications both in print
and on the Internet. I am reviewing all aspects of
the fitness industry and looking for my place in the diverse market
place today.

My name is Erika Jordan, I am a certified
fitness trainer, with certifications in nutrition, core training, pre-post
natal, and performance stretching. Amongst other things, I model. I
have been training since I was 13 and I think it's more of a science
then a sport. I have been featured in fitness magazines all over the
world but have never entered a competition. I train myself for power,
definition, and firmness. Not for size. I enjoy plyometrics, hiking,
biking, you name it! Variety is key in any exercise program. Fitness
is the fountain of youth.
As for other things, I am one of the hosts on Totally Busted, on Playboy
TV. I was the weather girl for Playboy TV and I am a spokesperson for
